What made EDSA Dos protest successful?

Answer :

The Second EDSA Revolution (EDSA II) was a four-day political protest from January 17 to January 20, 2001. It peacefully overthrew the government of the 13th President of the Philippines, Joseph Estrada. His vice-president, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, took his place. She was declared in at noon on January 20, 2001, a few hours before Estrada left Malacanang Palace. In the Philippines, EDSA stands for Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, which connects five cities in the metropolis: Pasay, Makati, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and Caloocan. The EDSA Shrine church, a business district, began the revolution. Mobile phones have risen to become an essential tool for coordinating mass action. The Philippines is a country where mobile phones are commonplace.  Following senators’ choices should be made as quickly as possible. In response to te-xt messages encouraging them to take action, Filipinos began replying in kind. This is the main reason why EDSA dos became successful.
